We just left Caboose Village after spending 2 days in the #4 - Reading train car for 2 days of our Independence Day vacation and it was awesome. The Reading is 99 a night & sleeps 3 comfortably w/ a queen size bed & a futon that folds down. The bathroom has a shower with two separate shower heads that is huge for double showering to save time. The train car has a deck on the end that faces the river that is very pleasant to sit on and enjoy the sunrise as well as the sunset and some times in between. We were riding ATVs during the day so we didn't hang on the porch too much. That's another great thing about Caboose Village as it is right at a trailhead for riding atvs and utvs and even a bicycle path branches off from there. The lady that checked us in works at the gas station most days and was really nice. There are lots of activities to do on the river and with atv rental as if you don't have your own. Being from Las Vegas, the 20 degree temperature difference was a welcome change for the holiday. We will definitely be back.

The caboose was very clean and the staff was very friendly. You have a perfect view of Big Rock Candy Mountain and the Sevier River. Easy access to all the trails for SXS riding. Two good choices for food: Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort Grill and Smokehouse and Hoover's. Overall we will probably stay again.
